Turkuvaz Media Group, signed content exchange agreement with Maeil Business, the largest media group of South Korea, in the 60th anniversary of the Korean War.

New cooperation was initiated in the “Turkey-Korea Business Forum” arranged by TÜSİAD (Turkish Industrialists’ And Businessmen’ Association) together with Korean Maeil Business Media Group and Korean Embassy in Ankara on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Korean War. Turkuvaz Media Group, which comprises 20% shares of the advertising market of Turkish television and newspaper with its in-field leading 1 TV channel, 4 newspapers and 26 magazines, signed a content exchange agreement with Maeil Business, the largest media group in South Korea. Within the context of the agreement, media groups will make news content exchange to increase awareness and to improve connection between the two Nations.

Chairman of Turkuvaz Media Group Mr. Ahmet Çalık said “friendship, cultural and commercial development between the two nations that has begun 60 years ago, continues to ascend today” at his speech in the signing ceremony. Çalık mentioned that “I firmly believe that the agreement, we made with Maeil Business Media Group, will accelerate the cultural, social and commercial developments and contribute to build better relations between two societies. In this communication era that we live in, we aim to increase awareness between the two societies. This cooperation will help to solidify the friendship and commercial bridge between two nations.
