Eastern Mediterranean Petro chemistry and Refinery Industry and Trade I.C., signed an agreement with Shaw Group to receive project management consulting services regarding Adana East Mediterranean Refinery Project.
DAPRAŞ (Eastern Mediterranean Petrochemistry and Refinery Industry and Trade I.C.) owned by Çalık Holding’s subsidiary Çalık Enerji, agreed with one of the world’s leading corporations Shaw Group, for the project management consultancy of petro chemistry and refinery facilities that will be built in Adana Yumurtalık region.
An added value project for Turkey
Çalık Enerji General Manager Assoc. Prof. Osman Saim Dinç said “Process capacity of the refinery in Yumurtalik will be 212,000 barrels of crude oil per day.” He also said that the refinery will process Iraqi, Russian and the Caspian oil. The respective oil will be supllied to local and regional oil product markets.” Eastern Mediterranean Petro chemistry and Refinery Project is expected to provide business opportunity to 7,000 people during the construction stage and 1,500 people will be employed when refinery will start operating.
