Çalık Holding carries out many environment, community and social responsibility projects in order to make a contribution to the society as well as creating added value for the country by paying taxes, providing best products and services and direct and indirect employment opportunities.

Restoration of Atatürk's Chalet in Yalova (Walking Chalet)

Yalova Chalet is opened with a ceremony held in the chalet garden after the completion of restoration project supported by Çalık Group in 18 August 2008. The chalet which was slided 4,8 meters forward in order not to cut a plane tree with Atatürk’s directive ‘Do not cut any branch of the tree, the chalet will be slided’. The chalet then named ‘Walking Chalet’ and became Atatürk’s recreation and study residence through long years and restored faithfully.

Tag Game Project-Şanlıurfa

’Tag Game’ Project is carried out with the voluntary participation of GAP Güneydoğu Tekstil staff to make a contribution to the society, social stakeholders and environment. Within the scope of the project which was started in May 2006, clothing and financial aid are provided and renovation activities of a school building was completed.

Help for ‘Hope House’

Financial contribution made by Çalık Holding in 2006 enables to complete a restoration project of a historical building in ruins in Ankara. The building, ‘Hacettepe Hope House’, is prepared by Hacettepe University’s Oncology Hospital for patients in need and planned within the frame of model generated by UICC-International Union Against Cancer.

Mahmut Çalık Training Complex-Malatya

Mahmut Çalık Training Complex, constructed on a 40,000 square meters area will be completed in 3 phases. Complex will include a kindergarten, a primary school, a high school, residence halls for boys and girls, recreational facilities and a sport hall. The first phase of the complex will finish at the end of 2008 and the whole project will be completed by 2010.

Hasan Çalık Hospital
The hospital was founded in 1992 and situated on a 12,000 square meters area including 4,000 m2 closed and 3,000 open spaces. Hospital’s total bed amount is 75 and has external diseases, internal diseases, urology, gynaecology, radiology, otorhinolaryngology, pediatry and infection sections.

The hospital was handed over to the Ministry of Health with a protocol signed in 1994 and reopened in 1997 after a refurbishment process sponsored by Çalık Holding.

Grant and Education Opportunities: Malatya Education Foundation

Çalık Holding and Group companies make their bursary and student aids through Malatya Education Foundation. Every Group companies made their contributions to the Foundation regularly and students in need apply to the Foundation to get help for their education.
