Rıdvan Aktürk Appointed as the New General Manager of Çalık Enerji
Rıdvan Aktürk, who has been serving as General Manager at YEDAŞ, Yeşilırmak Electricity Distribution Company since 2016, is now appointed as Çalık Enerji General Manager. Gathering Çalık Holding’s all energy operations in the field of EPC power systems, electricity production, distribution of electricity and natural gas, retail and trade under the same roof, Çalık Enerji is among the leading energy companies of the world with more than 8000 employees operating on a global scale.
Graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU), Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a master's degree, Rıdvan Aktürk earned his MBA from London Middlesex University Business School. With more than 25 years of experience in the fields of engineering and manufacturing of power generation, transmission and distribution systems; as well as transportation, storage, processing/refining and trading of oil and gas, Mr. Aktürk has joined Çalık Enerji in 2006. Mr. Aktürk served as the General Manager of YEDAŞ since 2016, following his job at Çalık Enerji as Director of Pipelines and Refinery.
Appointed as General Manager of Çalık Enerji, Rıdvan Aktürk is also Board Member at Çalık Group’s energy companies.
Associate Professor Osman Saim Dinç who has been the General Manager at Çalık Enerji since 2007 and during the period of his duty he expanded the company to the top ranks on a global scale in the fields it operates, won prestigious awards that are recognized worldwide, raised the company’s credibility and the business volume in energy sector in the world through his successful projects. He will continue to add value to the company by serving as a Board Member in the upcoming period.
