Energetic Schools Project from Çalık Enerji

Çalık Enerji along with Mitsubishi Corporation and Sustainability Steps Association reached nearly 400 students in Malatya with Energetic Schools Project

Energetic Schools Phase II Project was held in Malatya between 13-14 December in order to raise the awareness of vocational high school students on sustainability, climate change, renewable energy and technology. Hosted by İnönü University, the project reached more than 400 students in Malatya with the contributions of Malatya Provincial Directorate of National Education. A total of 1000 students will be reached through physical meetings along with tens of thousands of vocational high school students reached through digital channels.

After Amasya, the "Energetic Schools Phase II Project", carried out with the cooperation of Çalık Enerji, Mitsubishi Corporation and Sustainability Steps Association and Mitsubishi Corporation's Tokyo-based corporate social responsibility budget, has now been carried out in Malatya. With the contributions of Malatya Provincial Directorate of National Education, awareness raising seminars and workshops were held on sustainability, climate change, energy and technology for more than 400 vocational high school students. Inonu University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nusret Akpolat, Mitsubishi Corporation Turkey General Manager Yasunori Sakamoto and Çalık Holding Chairman Advisor Ender Hıdıroğlu attended the opening ceremony of the project.

The project will continue in Samsun after Amasya and Malatya, and aims to reach 1000 students physically and tens of thousands of students all around Turkey through digital channels.

More students will be reached after transferring the project to digital media

After the physical activities are completed in Amasya, Malatya and Samsun, the project will be transferred to a website to reach more students. The basic concepts of sustainability, climate change effects on our lives, renewable energy sources and the importance of digitalization and technology for sustainability will be explained to high school students in a way they can understand it.
