The opening of Garabogaz Fertilizer Plant, the largest ammonia and urea production facility in Turkmenistan built by Gap İnşaat and the Japanese Mitsubishi Corporation partnership has been realized
The significant portion of the products to be produced in the fertilizer plant with production capacity of 3,500 tons of urea and 2,000 tons of ammoniac to the Garabogaz Region near the Caspian Sea, are planned to be exported to the world market.
Garabogaz Fertilizer Plant, which will make significant contributions to regional and national economy is designed to produce its own energy to be used at the facilities with the power plant built in the factory, likewise, the entire water need will be generated at the water treatment facility established in the factory.
