Established in 2005, Yeşilırmak Elektrik Dağıtım Anonim Şirketi (YEDAŞ) was acquired by Çalık Group in 2010 as part of the privatizations in Turkey. In addition to Samsun, where it is based, YEDAŞ also caters to the provinces of Amasya, Çorum, Ordu and Sinop.
